Goldie: Lost Labrador found in sinkhole 6 days later

Goldie, a black Labrador retriever went missing 6-days ago in Viroqua, Wisconsin.  Goldie was not the type to wander and his owners, Mary and Jeff Aderman who have lived with Goldie for 12 years, searched everywhere for him and put up posters. 

On Monday, Jeff was in the vineyard collecting grapes when he heard a strange sound.  When he followed the noise, he found Goldie at the bottom of a 6-foot-deep sinkhole in the middle of  a meadow. 

Jeff and Mary widened the hole with a shovel and put a ladder inside to rescue Goldie,  As soon as she got out she ran back to the house.  Goldie was thirsty and hungry, but otherwise fine.
