My name is Jerrie, and I am the founder of Missing Persons of America, the only website of it's kind that brings you stories, commentaries, news and more about people missing in America. As, I write about missing persons, I come across stories on missing dogs, cats and more. I wanted to let people know about these stories, but MPofA only concentrated on people.
Then on October 17, 2011, ( 7 months after Missing Persons of America was born and had reached over 1/2 million people) after reading a story on missing service dog, Rex, I knew I had to find time to write about him and began Missing Pets of America.
Over the weeks you will see the content grown daily as we add more amazing stories about found pets, news articles about missing pets, and keep you up to date on whose missing and who is found. You will see this website grow, just like Missing Persons of America and become an extensive, interesting place to read about American Pets.
