According to Karen Pasco, Jack's owner, "He's being administered fluids, has low blood pressure and is dealing with the effects of prolonged malnutrition. While the prognosis is good overall, he's not out of the woods yet," said Karen.
Jack also had a wound on his leg that was repaired with surgery.
Jack was found when he fell out of a ceiling tile and landed in a custom and border patrol room at the airport on Tuesday.
America Airlines is flying Karen to New York on Friday to be with Jack.
Jack's Facebook page has risen from 16,000 to 20,000 likes over night and will probably to continue to grow as we support and cheer for Jack's recovery.
